Witnesses of great deeds
To commemorate these great feats, the history room for military athletes of the Mexican Army and Air Force was created. It is located in the Old Heroic Military College, in the Popotla neighborhood of Mexico City.

Various trophies, medals, awards and equipment are displayed in this room, products of the great effort of those who, in their duality, wear the sports kit and the military uniform.
Various allegories
The various trophies also tell of the cultural diversity of our country. Each of these trophies exalts the pre-Hispanic era, viceregal elements and the modernity of Mexico.
Wixarika ball
This award stands out for its creation using the bead technique, characteristic of the Wixarika community in the state of Nayarit.
Works of art for champions
The military representative volleyball team won the "2014 Cancun Volleyball Cup", earning themselves this hand-made trophy with details alluding to pre-Hispanic cultures, emulating a heart.
Rewarding great results
Throughout history, the Mexican Olympic Committee has recognized the great work that the Mexican Army and Air Force have done for sport, in this case immortalized by a trophy of the Mexican Olympic Medalists, A.C.
The Mexican Military Cavalry always ahead
These muñas (horse awards) were given to the equestrian team that won the gold medal at the XIX Central American and Caribbean Games "El Salvador 2002".

Combat in the military and sport
This trophy was awarded to the military representative team of Martial Arts, which took second place in the World Martial Combat Championship in Alcamo, Italy, in October 2013.

These medals were awarded to the military personnel who participated in the Pan American Beach Wrestling Championship in 2015.
Champions anywhere on the continent
In Brazil, the Mexican military beach wrestling team was crowned with the "Copa Brasil" of this discipline in 2009.
A medal as a thank you
Lieutenant Rommel Pacheco donated this bronze medal, which he obtained during the XXIII Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla 2018, in Colombia, to the history room as a thank you for the support given during his successful sports career.

The uniform: a symbol of discipline and of the homeland
For the military, the uniform is an extension of their being and distinguishes us as part of a whole, which is how military athletes participated wearing this uniform in the 1992 Olympic Games.

In extraordinary cases, military athletes have participated in adapted sports competitions, where despite their disability, they demonstrate their discipline and dedication to prove that adversity is an obstacle that everyone can overcome.
