1. Dreaming of Education
This canvas is inspired by the story of Naomi. She is a school dropout. Her father sold all his cows to provide for her education until Grade 5. Post which, he didn’t have any cows left to sell. As a result, Naomi couldn’t continue her education.
Naomi, like many other girls of the tribe who couldn't afford education, dreams of being able to continue it and become independent to support her family.

Julianne Huche Kisau is a 40-year-old Maasai woman. She has lived in the Losimingori village for the past 40 years, and water has always been a difficulty for them. Her prayer to God is to help them get resources that can help their livestock and farm.
Like most of the villagers that we spoke to, she aspires to see her children well-educated and leading a good life. She wants her daughter and son to be a doctor and an engineer respectively. Inspired by her dream, we drew her and her children on this canvas.
