Lost - Pt. 2 (2021) by Yassmine BoualamAfrican Leadership Academy

LOST

Yassmine Boualam's creative process for Lost is a direct reflection of the cycle to becoming the best version of yourself: the nostalgia of what was, confusion of what is, and finally, acceptance of what is to come.

By the end of the project I realised that I didn’t "lose" myself as such, I just evolved. Unconsciously, I found myself painting sea landscapes - a therapy that permitted me to find peace with myself. - Yassmine Boualam

I had the chance to explore parts of Madagascar I had never seen." - Sariaka Tiana Alexandra Rakotoarison
