Hunoof Hamad is an Emirati entrepreneur and creative visionary who is an ardent propagator of the idea of sustainable fashion. She is the founder of Les Spot, where vintage gets a new lease of life through a myriad of quaint possibilities.

Having been in the fashion industry for over twelve years, Hamad wanted to promote upcycling and recycling while presenting fashion-lovers with compelling reasons to go vintage shopping. In the restrictive times of the pandemic, her concept took wings and Les Spot was born.

To Hunoof Hamad, it was more than just an environmentally conscious choice. Unlike fast fashion, vintage couldn’t be replicated. She believed that every piece of fashion – be it a childhood dress or a vintage Barbie – had a story to tell and this was the way to pass it on.
Her store sells pieces picked from around the world and curated for the likeminded with diverse tastes. Les Spot isn’t strictly a vintage and thrift store that recycles clothes or furniture.

Hunoof Hamad envisages her idea to be a hub for local talents to showcase their ideas. She aims to inspire and educate people about sharing stories through the process of upcycling or recycling. Her dream is to place UAE on the fashion map as a pioneer in sustainable fashion.
