For the first edition of Timber Festival in 2018, we tasked our carpenter-maker Tom with building a double storey stage, with enough space for performers on the lower level and DJs on the upper level. Here's Tom with a section of the stage.

At Wild Rumpus HQ, we operate a designer-maker space where our talented design team fabricate all manner of things, from wayfinding signage, to giant lanterns to costume.

As part of Timber Festival we engage local schools within the National Forest to help cultivate a visual outcome for the festival. In 2018, we asked pupils to draw their own beastly forest monsters. We then shortlisted 12 and our design team created them writ-large!

Each spring, bluebells blossom at the Whirligig Woods, one of our spaces at Wild Rumpus HQ. It's also where our caravans live - these caravans house our staff at each of our festivals.
