Mustapha Azab believes that a portrait is an authentic documentation of the person in the way he got to know the person. “It’s my job to deliver a good portrait that reflects a person's inner character, far from the presence of filters and social media.”
Azab feels that preparation is the most important aspect in photography. Getting to know the subject and location in advance can help to capture a better picture. “For me, my favorite picture is the one that is yet to come,” he says.
For Mustapha, being in the United Arab Emirates, especially Dubai, has provided the opportunity to meet many talented people. He observes that the competitive environment here encourages people to produce high-quality content and give their best for their passion.
