Progressions, a part of MYSO’s innovative Community Partnership Programs, is an immersive string training program, which provides private instruction and orchestral training in violin, viola, cello and bass to 3rd and 4th grade students who have limited musical experience and live in or attend a school in the City of Milwaukee.

Tony holds down a full-time job as Director of Engineering and Operations, but he still makes time to volunteer three times each week to help the kids with music and social skills development.

A National Model
MYSO was named a National Arts and Humanities Youth Arts Program Award Winner in 2015 for its work through Progressions. To date, MYSO is the only youth orchestra in the country ever to have received this award.
