Awards
In addition to the Alliance winning the Regional Theatre Tony Award in 2007 for sustained excellence, the Alliance's productions that have transferred to Broadway have been nominated for 28 Tony Awards, winning several including Best Actress in a Musical and Best Play.

Tuck Everlasting
Our Alliance Stage was also the first home of the musical based on Natalie Babbit's classic novel, Tuck Everlasting. This show starred Sarah Charles Lewis, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Terrance Mann, Carolee Carmello, Robert Lenzi, and Michael Park.
Several other shows have chosen the Alliance Theatre to house their "out-of-town tryout," a first step on the road to Broadway to work out any kinks before it heads to the highly demanding audiences in New York.
