Turing Museum of Century-Old Brands: More than an Exhibition

A visitor stepping through the doors of the Turing Museum of Century-Old Brands enters not only an exhibition space, but also an elegant mansion that carries the memory of Istanbul.

In 19th-century Ottoman architecture, wooden mansions with rear gardens were among the most distinguished building types shaping urban civil life. One important example of this tradition is the Şükrü Bey Mansion - known as the “Green House” - belonging to the Ottoman Tobacco Company Minister Şükrü Bey.
