Not Even Bycatch?
For every shrimp caught, over 90 other fish will be killed.
We worked with Wawawiwa to create a wholesome comic that enabled us to start conversations with new people about catch without judgement or blame, leading to 1.3m signatures that helped create the global oceans treaty.
The Other Discovery Channel
Deep sea mining has been ravaging the sea beds out of sight, and too often out of mind.
We worked with Clarice Tudor and Waterbear to create this emotive webcomic to sit alongside their investigative documentaries that seek to ban bottom trawling and deep sea mining.
Tennis sucks
As part of the same series of documentaries, we worked with Sam Pratt and Waterbear to bring attention to the issues around discarded nets, ghost gear and the damage caused unwittingly to so many other sea creatures.
Krilling Time
Created to help Greenpeace with their krill campaign, we wanted to help the average person understand how utterly essential krill are to almost all forms of sea life.
Made with the amazing Irregular Galaxy Dudes and Sarah Florence Lord.
Mommy Shark
Made with the actor Clive Standen (made famous by the TV show Vikings), Captain Peter Hammarstedt from Sea Shepherd, Sarah Florence Lord and ourselves, we just wanted to really ram home that every meal with meat or fish in, is a family destroyed.
Meanwhile
Made in partnership with Clarice Tudor x Little ICAF, this sought to bring a little light hearted humour to the general horror that is humankind's affect on earth.
P is for Polar Bear
We collaborated with Zoo Draws Animal Facts in an unusually 'on the nose' story for us, where we just went hard on the emotional triggers of what life feels like for the polar bears and animals that rely on fish stock to survive.
Made in partnership with On the Edge, written by Paul Goodenough and Bobblejot, we created this cute comic and animation to help educate people on the weird facts around dolphins.
Worried
We worked with Anxious Animals to find a new emotional hook to help parents care about the plight of polar bears. This went on to have a fantastic engagement with new audiences, and also form a T shirt line for ourselves to raise money to help them.
Whale Song
War and Peas did that thing they do so well... that we have nothing (at all) to say about this one!

There's no one like me
Sad Animal Facts is known and beloved in the webcomics world for highlighting silly, rude and mostly sad facts about animals.
Together we wanted to do something a little different though, and move away from the facts, and focus on the emotion, which hit so hard.
The Nightmare
Created by the amazing Buddy Gator, we take a peak into the mind of a small turtle, haunted by straws that have hurt those they love.
