When everything seemed doomed to collapse, a small Cultural Centre choose art and culture to renew an Historical Centre and to give a new identity and a future to a City with no past nor present.

Farm Cultural Park was born from an intuition of Florinda and Andrea. A young couple of professionals who decided to remain in Sicily, not to complain about what is not happening, but to become protagonists of a small and significant change, to donate to their puppies Carla and Viola and to their community a small piece of a better world. 

The Sette Cortili are a kind of Sicilian Kasba. Seven small connected courtyards which host a series of smaller palaces and hide few small, but wonderful gardens of Arabic array. In this evocative surrounding cultural and recreational spaces are adjacent the aunts' houses. Antonia, Rosa and Maria are three of the aunts who live the Sette Cortili with Vito and few other residents. Visitors always ask us what they think about Farm and how they took the change. Try to ask them. They will answer you that they are happy, there are a lot of people and they receive daily phone calls from their relatives abroad who heard good things about the Sette Cortili. Both inside and outside of the Sette Cortili you can visit exhibitions, installations, artworks ofnational and international artists.

You can eat in different places:  fresh octopus and Sicilian street food by Purperia, fresh pasta in the corner Basta Pasta Restaurant; coffee and drinks in the corner Basta Bakery or pastries and fruit at the Sette Cortili entrance

An explosive cultural planning has characterized the first six years of Farm Cultural Park: indoor temporary exhibitions and permanent installations in public spaces, artists’ residences, festival, workshop with youth and children, book presentations, architecture competitions, portfolio readings of artists and numerous presentations in Italy and abroad.

The artists have the chance to study and do their research at Farm Cultural Park. In addition, it’s also possible to make a request for using the co-working space. “Holy Cow” is a beautiful space of co-working where we are honoured to incubate two extraordinary realities as Polline and L’edicola dell’innovazione. Nzemmula is a space which hosted educational and lab-activities.

FARM XL is the most important cultural space of Farm. There are exhibitions, installations, cultural projects and photographic exhibitions that change twice per year. One of its most important cultural project is Sou, the school of architecture for children. The gallery has also a cocktail terrace. 

An installation on the theme of crisis, created by Dimora OZ, a laboratory of visual, performing and multimedia arts, a transdisciplinary space animated by numerous residents from Palermo. Dimora OZ is an art factory that addresses contemporary issues, creating productions, events and workshops, with a particular attention to relational dynamics of collaboration and participation.

You can find an amazing terrace inside Farm XL, perfect for a cocktail party with some friends, a stag party, a birthday party or a romantic dinner.

The first in Italy, the second in the world.

In close collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano and the Atelier Kengo Kuma Tokyo, an extraordinary new space within the Seven Courtyards, not only for children but also for the boys and for their families.

The first School of Architecture for Children is specialized mainly in educational activities after school, related to urban planning, architecture and the environment, the construction of the Community, but also to art, design, urban agriculture and to ' food education.

And again with a momentum to the world of cooperation, social innovation, DIY culture.

With a small tribute to Japan and its most enlightened contemporary architects and visionaries.

The mission of the School is not only stimulate reflection, planning and action for the betterment of society but also the promotion and education in the host values, participation, tolerance and solidarity, generosity and social commitment.

Two hundred and fifty square meters with a design office, workshop for the production of prototypes, small auditorium for presentations, exhibition space, a small garden and a kitchen will host courses and educational activities not only for children but also for their parents.
