A choice that looks far ahead

In the 1970s Rexroth, a world leader in hydraulics with whom the company had collaborated since its origins, chose Ruhrital to enter the Italian market directly. The company name becomes Rexroth SpA.

The new headquarters

In the mid-1970s, growing space requirements led the company to look for new headquarters. The choice fell on Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan), newly connected by the new Metro 2 line.

The expansion

Beginning in the late 1960s, in the orbit of the Mannesmann Rexroth Group, a long phase of growth driven by the steel sector began.

The Drive & Control Company

In the last decades of the 20th century, the company enriched its technology portfolio by acquiring Indramat (electric drives and controls), Deutsche Star (linear technology), Wabco, and Mecman (pneumatics) brands, which enabled it to extend its range of applications.
