In the Conservatory: Desert House
The Fuqua Conservatory’s Desert House offers a glimpse into this harsh, beautiful world, and explores the unique ways that plants thrive in the desert. Surprisingly, there are no cacti here. These plants are mostly succulents, including Euphorbia, Aloe and many more.

Earth Goddess
As the focal point of the Cascades Garden, Earth Goddess, now in the Garden's permanent collection, was the highlight of the 2013-14 Imaginary Worlds exhibitions.
Earth Goddess
There are 18,000 annuals in Earth Goddess alone. Created by Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal, the work requires constant attention from Garden horticulturists.

Earth Goddess
Earth Goddess has become an icon for the Garden. During 2016's Chihuly in the Garden, featuring works by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly, she presided over his beloved Fiori Boats installation in the Cascades Garden.

Chihuly in the Garden
Renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly mounted exhibitions in the Garden in 2004 and 2016. Nepenthes Chandelier was donated to the Garden's permanent collection by David Jost Tufts in memory of Jeff Lewis in 2004, and now hangs in the Hardin Visitor Center.

Isobel, a charming young girl surrounded by flowers takes careful steps. Teena Stern and Donald Haugen collaborated on this work in bronze. Isobel is located in the Southern Seasons Garden. This is one of 30 displayed sculptures in the Garden's permanent collection.
Atlanta Botanical Garden, Gainesville opened in 2015, celebrates years of planning and development of one of North Georgia’s most beautiful landscapes aimed at connecting visitors with both the natural world and cultural amenities. It is home to the largest conservation nursery in the Southeast. In 2020, the completion of the Ada Mae Pass Ivester Children's Garden offered Gainesville's little sprouts an exciting new ways to explore nature.
