The Trace Live event seeks to showcase the performance abilities of Nigerian musicians. The event highlights the best blend of vocals and musical instruments - and is a must-visit event.

#1: Omawumi, 22 June 2017
Omawumi Megbele widely known simply as Omawumi is an actress and singer/songwriter who incorporates elements of soul and R&B into her bright, funk-laden pop sound. After having graduated with a law degree in 2005, she auditioned for the 2007 West African version of the TV talent show franchise Idols.

She was ultimately voted first runner-up and has gone on to become one the most formidable vocalists on the Nigerian pop music charts with hits like “Bottom Belle”, “If You Ask Me” and lots more. She has received multiple awards including Next Rated Artiste at the Hip Hop World Award 2009, ELOY Awards nominee for the Best Female Artist 2014 and Best Vocal Performance(Female) at The Headies, 2018. She also has several movie appearances to her credit including being one of the lead actors in the movie ‘She Is’ which premiered in March 2019.

Omawumi became the first headlining artist for a Trace Live concert which took place at the Terra Kulture Arena on the 22nd of June 2017.

#2: Flavour, 16 September 2017
Flavour who is also known as Flavour N’abania and the ‘Flavour of Africa’ is a Nigerian Highlife Afro musician, songwriter and instrumentalist. He is said to be Africa’s, highlife king. He began his musical career as a drummer for a local church.

Flavour released his 8-track album titled N’abania in 2008. Afterwards, he released ‘Uplifted’ in 2010. Uplifted had hit singles: "Nwa Baby", "Oyi" and "Adanma". The album was successful and made waves on various media platforms, thereby creating an avenue for Flavour to become one of Africa’s most sought after artist. Flavor has won several awards which include Most Gifted Afro Pop at Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Indigenous Artist of the Year at MTV Awards, Best Collabo of the Year at Headies Awards and African Artiste of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards.

#3: Adekunle Gold, 4 May 2018
Adekunle Gold, is a Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter and graphic designer. Gold calls his music "urban highlife" because of its conscious intersections with contemporary pop, electronica, folk, and R&B. His hit single "Sade", a highlife cover of One Direction’s "Story of My Life" has been credited as thrusting him into the limelight.

Gold, his debut Album released in 2017 peaked at number seven on the World Albums Chart, while his sophomore outing, 2018's About 30, charted in and out of Nigeria. He spent most of 2019 touring Africa and is back to his hit dropping ways with 2020 chart topping hits like "AG Baby", "Something Different", and "Pami".

#4: Falz, 13 July 2018
Falz, is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, actor and lawyer. While in school, he started a music group called ‘The School Boys’ with his friend. Thereafter, in 2009, Falz dropped his first mixtape collections, titled ‘Shakara’: The Mixtape. Afterwards, Falz release his debut album Wazup Guy in 2014.

In May 2018, Falz released a single titled, ‘This is Nigeria’. The music video was inspired by Childish Gambino’ ‘This is America’, an American actor and comedian. The song listed out the ills in Nigeria including but not exclusive to bribery and corruption. His fourth studio album Moral Instruction further addressed societal issues such as corruption, police brutality, prostitution, social injustice and internet fraud. The album won Best Rap Album and Album of the Year at The Headies 2019. His 2020 hit single "Bop Daddy" became a global phenomenon after going viral on the social media platform "Tik Tok".

#5: Wande Coal, 22 May 2019
Wande Coal is an award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, whose song genre is in the R&B, and Afro-pop category. He got his break in the Nigerian entertainment industry as a dancer which in turn led to him getting signed to Don Jazzy's Mo' Hits Records in 2006.

His first single "Ololufe", won the world over with its touching lyrics and beautiful melodies. He later released his debut album "Mushin To Mo’Hits" which garnered him praise and recognition Nigeria, UK and the USA. He launched his own company, Black Diamond Entertainment, to release his follow-up album, Wanted, in 2015. Over several years, he released hit after hit including 2017's "Iskaba" with DJ Tunez and 2018's "So Mi So." Among his ever expanding collection of awards we find The Headies Artist of the Year, MTV Africa Music Award Song of the Year and many others. He kicked off 2020 in style with "Again" and "Naughty Girl".

#6: 2Baba, 21 February 2019
Innocent Ujah Idibia is a Nigerian Singer-songwriter, recording producer and entrepreneur. Popularly known as 2face Idibia, which he changed to 2Baba in July 2014. 2Baba is one of the most successful and decorated Afro pop artists in Africa with over 70 awards to his name. Forbes listed him as one of the 40 most powerful celebrities in Africa.

In 1996, while in school, 2Baba started his career in the music industry by composing jingles. He co-founded a three man group "Plantashun boiz" and successfully released two albums before disbanding in 2004, each pursuing a solo career. The track "African Queen" off his 2004 "Face 2 Face" album charted in Africa and on international charts thrusting him into the limelight.

His Trace Live concert was tagged “2Baba, The Reign" and it took place at the Terra Kulture Arena on the 21st of February 2019.
