Mount Elgon National Park
Mount Elgon National Park spans 1,279 square kilometers across both Kenya and Uganda, and is situated 140 kilometers northeast of Lake Victoria. It takes its name from the nearby extinct volcano, Mount Elgon, and is home to elephants, buffalo, antelopes, monkeys, and many birds.
