DEMOO's fabric

The fabric that transmits light, such as Shah, Novang, Messi, and Jersey, makes us think anew about the colors and shapes we see now, the nature of the design that exists beyond.

The baggy pants

DEMOO's experimental spirit created women's clothing like men's clothes, clothes that changed structure freely with zipper, and long-bottom exhaust pants. One of them is DEMOO's signature silhouette exhaust pants. These are exhaust pants that DEMOO has created over the past several seasons of the work. You can see DEMOO's exhaust pants that blend harmoniously, although the timing is different.

Using natural white

DEMOO highlights the structural form of the garment by extreme moderation in decoration and use of color, and shows the subtle depth of color through achromatic color. The work is a collection of DEMOO's native white works from 1999.

The spirit of avant-garde

The avant-garde look of DEMOO, whose collar and even a small line are always expressed in different ways, asks again questions about the nature of the garment and makes them think a new.

The pictorial works involving top fashion photographers of the time, including Kim Yong-ho, Vincent Sung and Choi Geum-hwa in the 1990s, are surprisingly fascinating from the current perspective, which is in 2018. DEMOO's visual works with unequaled value in design show its challenging spirit that has been creating new rules of fashion with bold ideas and refined flair every season.

MINIMALISM MINIMALISM (1999/1999) by PARKCHOONMOOSeoul Design Foundation

Minimalism

DEMOO's minimalism, which excludes decoration, is not explained by just one word: "simplicity." Whether Kim Yong-ho, a photographer who has been carrying DEMOO's costume on camera since the early 1990s, it is DEMOO's clothing to "stimulate latent adventurism in people's minds." Wearing DEMOO's clothes is a clear manifestation of some Atticus. The attitude of not afraid of innovation in a fashion-conclusive way of life.

Paintings and drawings

Paintings and drawings by Park Choon-moo are the source of DEMOO design philosophy. Fashion designer and painter Park Choon-moo's Atelier has brought some of it to the exhibition. His abstract painting work, which began in the mid-1990s with a nude crook, leads to continued exploration of the body and experimentation with colorless depth. The structural arrangement of the repeated lines and sides and the combination of multi-layered textures are in line with the aesthetics pursued by fashion brand DEMOO. KIAF (Korea International Art Fair) and Park Choon-moo's representative works unveiled through a number of group competitions.
