Constantin Agafiţei was the student of professors Octav Băncilă and Gheorghe Popovici at the Academy of Fine Arts in Iaşi. His themes were the landscape, the flowers and still life.
Samuel Mützner was the pupil of professor George Demetrescu Mirea at the School of Fine Arts in Bucharest and he studied at the Royal Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts in München with Karl Raupp and Anton Azbe. Also, he studied at the Julian Academy in Paris. He frequented the Claude Monet’s studio.
Ion Stendl was the student of professors Ion Popescu Negreni, Ştefan Constantinescu and Gheorghe Popescu at the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Plastic Arts in Bucharest.
Octav Băncilă studied with the painters Panaiteanu-Bardasare and C. D. Stahi at the School of Fine Arts in Iaşi. Also, he studied with professors Raub and Gysis in München.
