In Huerta de la Salud, in the Hortaleza district of Madrid, you will find the Silo de Hortaleza, a polygonal reinforced concrete building that was converted into an exhibition hall in 2002 and has been home to a permanent photography exhibition ever since.

In 2020, with the aim of revitalising and energising the space, the AEPE proposed the PURO ARTE painting and sculpture competition, bringing art closer to the public and seeking the participation of local residents to create a space of confluence where pure art can breathe.
