In June 2014, the Renata Tebaldi Museum was inaugurated, in the majestic setting of the Villa Pallavicino Stables in Busseto, located in the center of the Province of Parma, in one of the most fertile territories in Italy, the Verdian lands.
If the Opera is one of the cultural pride of Italy, Renata Tebaldi is universally considered the paradigm of Italian vocality.
The Museum is therefore a tribute due to our most extraordinary opera singer, who, with her "angel voice", her rigorous skill as a musician and her glamour, has inebriated audiences all over the world, bearing their testimony of Italian Art and Culture.
The Museum holds a very rich heritage that deserves the utmost care in its conservation and contributes to increasing the charm of an era and a world, that of opera, which is still able to amaze today.
The museum itinerary intends to retrace the unforgettable story of Renata Tebaldi; its presence in the rooms is significant but discreet;
the exhibition, designed by Daniela Gerini, shows the costumes, jewels of the time, documents, stories of a bygone era, in a modern vision that knows how to fascinate.
The Museum was designed by Daniela Gerini, Milanese stylist and designer
is divided into several rooms:
hall of stage costumes;
all original -
the dresses, costumes and jewels worn exclusively by Renata Tebaldi.
