Seville (undated photograph 1920s).- Partial view of the Cervantes Circus where can be seen one of the shelves where important dates and places of the life of the mentioned writer appear, and over which lays a small equestrian sculpture of Sancho Panza (r); and one of its seats decorated with tiles that show scenes of the Quixote. The circus, done in 1913, is part of the America Square in the south part of the Maria Luisa Park in Seville.

MADRID, 06/22/1940 Sight of the monument dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes, work of the architect Rafael Martínez Zapatero and sculptor Lorenzo Coullaut Valera, sculpture made in granite (base and figure of writer) and bronze for the characters of his novel, Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Its located in Plaza deEspaña, in Madrid.

San Francisco 5-2-1945.- In the Golden Gate Park, in the city of San Francisco, rises the monument to Cervantes, exponent of the Spanish culture in said city.

City of Panama 1950s.- The Hispanic American Diplomatic Corps with the Spanish Ambassador and the Panama authorities, in front of the monument of Miguel de Cervantes, during the homage celebrated in the anniversary of the author of the Quixote.

La Paz 10-22-1963 The temporary president of the republic, Federico Fortún Sanjinés (2r); the Spanish ambassador, Rafael Ferrer Sagreras (1r); the major of La Paz, Julio Manuel ARamayo (3l) and the general director of Protocol of the Foreign Relations Ministry, Ernesto Ruíz Rada, have inaugurated today the monument to Miguel de Cervantes “Corregidor perpetuo de La Paz” in the Spain square in the Bolivian capital. The monument, donated by the town hall of Madrid, was inaugurated on occasion of the 415 anniversary of the foundation of the city.

Guadalajara, 09/11/04.- Monument to the Quixote inaugurated yesterday in Guadalajara.

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 05.01.05.- The artist from Cordova Aurelio Teno embellishes with his sculptures in homage to the IV centenary of the Quixote the Spain Square of the Tenerife capital within the acts of the May festivities.

View of the bronze sculptures that embellish the square of the Cervantes Theatre today, October the 13th in the XXXIII edition of the International Cervantine Fest (FIC), evoking the dream of freedom and justice of Don Quixote of La Mancha, in the city of Guanajuato, 365 kilometers away of the Mexican capital.

Several Algerians in front of a column that holds a bust of the Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, placed beside the Cervantes Grotto, during the inauguration ceremony of the grotto today June the 12th in Algiers (Algeria). This grotto was where Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra hid for nearly two months in his second attempt to flee Algeria. The restoration of the place has been done thanks to a collaboration project from Spain and Algeria.

Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) 2-15-2007.- Old house from the 16th century propierty of the Miguel de Cervantes family where the author of the Quixote was born in 1547. In the museum there is one of the best collections of editions of the Quixote in different languages.

Campisábalos (Guadalajara), 6-8-2007.- The image of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza head the posters that show each and every of the nine touristic routes that the Junta de Comunidades de Castile- La Mancha in the province of Guadalajara proposes.

Different editions in Russian, Hebrew, Greek, Croatian, German, Korean and Serbo-Croatian form part of the more than 300 books of “The Quixote” of the collection that with donations of more than 53 countries a high school teacher has managed to gather to commemorate the International Book Day in the town of Güimar (tENERIFE).
