They shoot horses, don't they? (2023) by Natalia KabanowWroclaw Mime Theatre
The action takes place in the 1930s in the United States of America. The costumes of the dance marathon participants reflect the fashion of the first half of the last century, American icons, and pop culture. We present the magnificent designs by Łukasz Błażejewski.

Geneva Tomblin
Agnieszka Kulińska
The prudish Geneva is dressed in a plaid skirt that reaches her knees, which she sheds as the marathon progresses and she finds liberation in dance, revealing a patterned, leg-revealing jumpsuit. The decoration of Tomblin's outfit includes finishes made of purple tulle - abundant, puffy sleeves, and a ruffle at the leg openings.
The costume of the representative of the League of Mothers for Morality, Mrs. Higby, is a typical attire of "moralist ladies" - a mohair suit in olive color with a pencil skirt covering the knees, an elegant scarf covering the décolletage and neck, a hat, gloves, and a tasteful brooch.
