The National Gallery of Art is located in Washington D.C on 6th and constitution Ave. The museum has had a history of having some of the worlds greatest pieces of art work. This museum is known for its theme of how the human society has had played a role in artists life and why they created their artwork. The National Gallery of Art was conceived and given to the people of the United States by Andrew W. Mellon. Andrew Mellon was a financier and famous art collector who wanted America to push and become more informed about the great wonders of art.
