There are some similarities between Da Vinci and Raphael. Both of the two people have shown talent in arts in the early years of their age. Also, they represent the highest level of arts of the High Renaissance period. They created large numbers of art works, and left priceless art treasure for later generations.

But just like we cannot find two same pieces of leaves in the world, there must be some differences between these two artists. First, the artistic styles of Da Vinci and Raphael are quite different. He thought Human body is the wonderful work by natural world and artists should view human body as the core of painting objects. His best known drawings, for example, Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, reflect his exquisite artistic attainments.

Besides the difference in artistic styles, the achievement fields of the two artists are also not the same. Da Vinci, was not only a painter, he was also a sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. Raphael did not has as many experiences as Da Vinci, nor did he has heroism as Michelangelo. Although he only lived for 37 years, Raphael became the most popular artist in the period of renaissance.
