From the beginning of time to present day, a Geisha has been a sign of beauty, femininity and tradition. To be a Geisha it takes years of training. It is an ancient art that dates back centuries. Most people, especially of the West equate them to prostitutes, which is unfortunate. Geisha are entertainers of the highest class. They serve food and drinks. They are versed in conversation and hosting. Geisha are musicians, singers, and dancers. Geisha play the role of many women, every time they entertain. This is a brief look at how a Geisha may spend her day, from preparation to commuting and entertaining.
