In this gallery you will find propaganda posters from World War 2 but they are from the German Perspective and not the typical Allied Propaganda posters we have seen from our various History classes. You will see how these propaganda posters spoke to the German people to get them to aide in the war effort and help Germany win the war! Many of the posters used to motivate the German population were posters about unity, trust and hard work.

This piece contributes to the gallery first because it tells the German people that the military can use the rubber more than they need it. The poster shows a German truck stopped and it is stopped because its tires are flat or blown out. So they use this idea to show that the military can use rubber for tires in order to make combat vehicles which in turn will make a difference in the war.
This piece contributes to the gallery because it is my counter piece. It is an allied propaganda poster requesting its citizens to save rubber because the military can use more than the citizen not fighting in the war. The piece is even says that they have more important places to go because they are the ones fighting in the war.
This contributes to the gallery because it asks the German people to work hard while the German soldiers are fighting. The phrase on the poster translates to the name of the poster. The poster contains a soldier to serve as a reminder that they are the ones fighting so you are that has to work while they fight for victory.
This contributes to the gallery because it shows that the German soldiers are indeed the victorious people behind the German people. The poster has a German soldier and an German officer on it which shows who is fighting for the victory of the Germany people and Germany itself too.
This contributes to the gallery because it show the war in action. It also shows the assault on Normandy Beach because it is on a beach and has non-German soldiers in it which would only indicate Normandy Beach. My Honor which is the name of the poster says that because the Germans are losing and there honor is at stake because of it.
This piece contributes to the gallery because it again shows that unity and togetherness will lead to victory for the German people. Also the name of the poster which is Only serenity and a heart of steel will lead to victory shows that working hard will lead to victory for Germany over the Allied forces.
This contributes to the gallery because just like the pieces before it still has that same idea of working together to win the war. Even the quote form Hitler communicates that they have to win and it cannot be otherwise which means victory and only victory and no losing the War and is aimed to motivate the people to their highest capacity.
The last piece in the gallery again contributes to the idea of hard work. Also it shows that if Hitler was able to win the war there would be no country able to oppose him so Germany would spread across Europe and just take over. This is what I believe Hitler is saying in the quote which is also the name of the piece.
