I chose these images because most of them represent beauty and happiness life, using vibrant colors and beautiful background. Some of these images give me the feeling of fulfilment and enjoynment even though living in that era wasn't happy times most times. I did notice that no one smile or gaze at the artist, is like if they are engaged 100 % in their task. As well I selected some images of The Sand Museum" since I enjoyed their creativity and hard work with sand, as well as the animal representation since they are part of us humans!. These images relate to our course theme to me since they were hand picked by my values and ideologies therefore they are meaningful to me. These images transfer motherly power and value even in hard time, aesthetically pleasing, easy to relate to (children or animals), education/history about ancient culture and vision and truth. Please check each picture for visual analysis.

Portrait of Eleonora di Toledo with her son Giovanni, Bronzino Tori, 1544 - 1545, From the collection of: Uffizi Gallery
This 1544 oil painting is the most authentic of all the other images i chose for this project. It is very detailing jewlery, dress patter and choice of colors. It is easy to assume that they were people with money, to be able to have a painting like this done. The artist use darker colors but it contrast very well, bringing the white skin color out. The hair du is beautiful and different from that era. I just wish they would have smile.

In this sand museum image sculpture the representation of Asian ethnicity is present. They are vendors on the streets selling to try to survive. Very creative and detail work in this image is clearly viewed.

In this sand sculpture image the artist try to demostrate the animals being washed from the sea water. It looks like waves and they are in piles. There are many kinds of them and just gazing to the artist. The sand color gives a natural but sad sensation. This picture relates to our module #9 question. Humans not taking care of their garbage and damaging all animal life.
Street Scene, Jill Harris Thomas Koet, 2009, From the collection of: The Sand Museum
This sand sculpture museum image representing the 18 century culture. Demostrate a group of vendors out on the streets socializing and conversing. This way of living for some was sometimes the only social life and way to survive that they had. It reminds me of the sacrifices families had to made in order to survive at that era.
Vienna State Opera, Alessandro Buonopane, 2009, From the collection of: The Sand Museum
This sand museum sculpture image is of the Leading opera house in Europe 1869. But to me it represents the high class family house from the ancient Rome era. It gives me an impression of the house of Eleonora di Toledo (picture #6 here). The beauty, well designed and constructed building tells the viewer that cost a lot to be the owner.
