1) What artistic prohibition does Islamic religious art have that Christian art does not? 1)You can not show Muhammad as a religious symbol because Islamic religion forbids idol worship.

2) Islamic religion mixes church and state. And this would be passed on from generations. It is because of this, a lot of royal symbolism is in their religious art.

3) Idol worship is again not allowed in Islamic religious art. However pictorial elements are freely used in luxurious art.
