By: Erika A. Cox The topic I chose in my gallery was “women”. Women through history has been influential in all periods of time and have shaped man and women kind alike.  For my first piece of art, I a piece called “Femmes nues agenouillees” it is a small sculpture of a women made from plasticine. For the second image It is a painting of a women and child made from pastels and for the third piece of art it is printed photograph. The first image looks like looks like a nude women in a kneeling position and it looks like it might portray the vuerability of women. In the second image Their is a women with a sleeping child in her arms and, it further explains the role of women and their role of caregivers to the children and commanders of the household. The third image is a poster a women who is assembling a part of a aircraft that is going to be used for fighting in the second world war. The first image of the plasticine sculpture uses form of a realistic shape of a women that harmony of texture that the piece is made of all the same material. In the Second piece is a painting that uses rough uses of the pastel paints. The child in the women’s arms has the most emphasis in the painting and is the most attention grabbing. The third piece of art was of a propagasnda poster, that was mostly used to influence young women to come and work in the workforce and get the more equal opportunity since the men where away fight in the world war II. It was a type of exposure to these women since there was no one to help do these jobs but the women.
