The Italian landscape shows the true colors of Italy from the sunset on the water to the snow covered mountains.  Most of these artworks show the theme of beautiful Italian landscapes in different ways.  The colors are bright like the artists are trying to show the true beauty unlike some countries which use dark colors to describe the gloomy weather.  Also, Italy has the ability to model off their luscious green pastures, mountains, and beautiful lakes/oceans.  Each artwork in my gallery has unique ideas yet fit the mold of beautiful Italian landscapes.  Some of the artworks incorporated all of the Italian landscapes in one work.  One of the interesting things was seeing that all of these artworks were created within 250 years of each other.  Over the time of the world that is relatively close in years.

Italian Landscapes at Sunset, Fishermen, Markó,Károly, 1851, Provenant de la collection : Hungarian National Gallery
This artwork is unique because of the magnificent sunset along with the Rocky Mountains in the back left. It is special seeing all three of those in one artwork. The artist in Italy captured nature.
Italian Landscape with Bridge and Tower, Joseph Mallord William Turner, 1827, Provenant de la collection : Tate Britain
Also, you see the only green trees so far with some sort of ocean or lake in the background. Everything besides the trees is blurry which means the artist wanted you to focus on it.
Italian Landscape, Both, Jan, c.1637-42, Provenant de la collection : Dulwich Picture Gallery
This artwork lacks the color that the other pictures have but still shows the changing in color of the skies. Also, it shows the trees and road leading toward the skyline. This relates to the theme.
Italian Landscape with Mountains and a River, Joseph Wright of Derby, c. 1790, Provenant de la collection : The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
This artwork is the definition and personifies Italian landscape. This has a lot more greens with trees and mountains. Other artworks had bright colors whereas this one is darker more gloomy.
View of the Grand Canal and the Dogana, about 1743, Provenant de la collection : The J. Paul Getty Museum
This "View of the Grand Canal and the Dogana" shows the beautiful waterways through the cities of the major cities. The color of the water looks inviting to the people. Reminds me of a beach shore.
Mountain Landscape with Road to Naples, Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond, about 1821–1825, Provenant de la collection : The J. Paul Getty Museum
I tried to have a similar theme with all of these works yet differentiate from the different types of landscapes. Those who are not from Italy may not know that there are these types of terrains here.
View of Bridge and the Town of Cava, Kingdom of Naples, 1785 - 1790, Provenant de la collection : The J. Paul Getty Museum
This is similar in look to one of the early works. Italy can satisfy any tourist taste for all types of landscapes. It relates to the beauty that the land in Italy covers.
Italianate Landscape with Crab Fishers, Adam Pijnacker, circa 1665 - 1670, Provenant de la collection : Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen
This last work is a close up image of the combination of everything Italy offers at sunset. It shows the sunset water falling from the rocks with trees in the background. This work is last for me.
