Emmanuelle Moureaux, the color designer.
The artist fell in love with the street scenes of Tokyo on a trip in the city. As a French person, her romantic and free spirited nature inspired her decision to transcend the distance and cultural barriers and settle in the charming yet unfamiliar colorful city of Tokyo.
The ""100 Colors"" that began in 2013 is an installation series that divides the space using one hundred colors. Emma is determined to make color the protagonist of the city by reinforcing and demonstrating its existence in the surrounding. Through her many shades of color, she has further stimulated our visual sense and transformed our relationship with space. While successfully taking up the interior space, ""100 Colors"" has also made its way into temples, streets, parks and plazas and sprawled all corners of the world. This year, ""100 Colors"" has come to the Xinyi business district between the towering buildings. People can interact freely with this flowy sculpture and enter Emma’s colorful space for the ultimate maximized sensory experience.
