Farmyard Animals: Cockerel, Two Hens and   Seven Chicks,

The paint is applied
  here with thin, overlapping brushstrokes and the artist has favoured the use
  of clean colours. The canvas probably belonged to a series of several works,
  together with Fox and Cat among the
  Fowl, also exhibited in the Pinacoteca del Castello.
