In a time when conceptualism has become so prevalent, the Jury decided to grant the First Prize to a work that shows a combination of suggesting image, professionalism and technical excellence, as well as a vindication of the value of artistic education. Certain melancholic atmosphere undoubtedly refers to the memory of the photographic portrait at the end of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX century. The artist presents her work as a whole, being the restored bank an inherent part of its display. First Itaú Cultural Visual Arts Award 2013-2014.
