Angelo Campos grew up in Villa Cruzeiro, one of the most notorious favelas of Rio de Janeiro. He has used art to create dialogue in conflict areas and show youngsters an alternative to a live of violence. His murals can be seen in Philadelphia, Miami and the Netherlands. On request from municipality of Amsterdam West, Street Art Museum Amsterdam asked Angelo to create an artwork highlighting the top apartment of the building, Zero on the Meter - the first sustainable housing that uses the energy of the solar panels.
