Jef Montes’ (Netherlands) collections are characterised by his personal heritage. His Next in Line exhibit recalls his childhood fascination with sailboats, translating it into a broader focus on material innovation – a theme that permeates each of his collections through specifically designed and developed textiles.

Creative Director of Atelier Kikala, Lado Bokuchava (Georgia) finds inspiration in the variety of the everyday, including music, colour, his mood and personal style. Changing with the seasons, he says, ‘Spring/Summer collections have clean and wearable forms - they are simpler. My Autumn/Winter collections have stronger concepts where I create more sculptural shapes.’

A womenswear label, Hala Kaiksow (Bahrain) re-appropriates work-wear and traditional garments for a contemporary context; elevating them through a focus on materiality and a dissolution of gender barriers. Contemplating the body’s response to the garment, their pieces are handcrafted.
