The Observatory

For the 6th EDITION of WOOL, we brought to Covilhã a group of 4 artists, 2 portuguese and 2 foreigners. Sebas Velasco (Spain), Douglas Pereira (Brazil), Kruella d’Enfer (Portugal) and Mário Belém (Portugal) were invited to develop interventions in the historic center, once again inspired by the local identity, which we consider to be everything that makes this place unique: traditions, songs, gastronomy, personalities, history, fauna and flora, etc.

The artist explores a visual language with vibrant colors, shapes and figures that result in complex compositions, in which organic characters and elements such as fauna and flora from the places he explores are fused.
