Estruturalho

For the 5th EDITION of WOOL, once again we brought to Covilhã a group of 4 artists, 2 portuguese and 2 foreigners.Pastel (Argentina), Roc Blackblock (Spain), Aheneah (Portugal) and Draw (Portugal) were invited to develop interventions in the historic center, once again inspired by the local identity, which we consider to be everything that makes this place unique: traditions, songs, gastronomy, personalities, history, fauna and flora, etc.

In this edition, and in fact, in all the editions since 2011, we pay homage to Covilhã. We pay tribute to those who built this city past, to those who make its present, seeking to inspire those who will be here for the future.
We remember who from here, is far (really far away) as Ernesto de Melo e Castro (and indeed his whole family).
We introduced to the artist Frederico Draw the engineer, poet, essayist, writer and plastic artist born in Covilhã, but of the world, and he inspired by this personality, specially for his visual poetic work, spent a week in a huge wall, read here homage, having as company one of the best views of our Cova.
