This uigwe records the state ritual of installing Queen Eom as an Empress of Gojong at Junghwajeon, Gyeongun palace, on 4th September 1901 (Gwangmu 5). The book writes down royal edict, letters to king, expenses, materials, and labors used for the event, and rewards given to those involved. The picture of the objects used for the event, and diagram indicating the location of people are also included. This uigwe was produced for kings to read so that the cover was made glamorous with colorful silks and the handwriting neat with red lines. This is an important material to study the rituals of the Empire after the founding of Korean Empire in 1897.
