This uigwe records the process of producing Emperor Gojong and his crown prince’s portraits. This took place from September 1901 (Gwangmu 5) to May 1902. The main event was placing the portraits in Junghwajeon and Taegeukjeon. These two buildings belonged to Punggyeong palace which was a secondary palace of the Empire. There are four types of Emperor’s portraits in which the emperor wears king’s robe, king’s crown, military uniform, etc., and the crown prince had one more type with him wearing a different uniform. Jangseogak has two more books other than this uigwe.
