This refined vessel was made of clear glass, cut and matt engraved in the style of the late Baroque. A particularity of the chalice is the unusual style of decoration of its spindle stem, using gold thread melded into the glass to create the effect of a golden-red spiral. The cup of the vessel is adorned with the Wrocław coat of arms cut on its surface, framed with laurel leaves, while on the opposite side there is a two-headed Habsburg eagle holding a sword and a sceptre in its claws, with the coat of arms emblazoned on its chest. The vessel’s foot is engraved with crossed pennants and botanical motifs.
