Miroslawa Truchta Nowicka - born in 1966, graduated in 1994 from the Faculty of Plastic Design at the Czestochowa WSP (now Jan Długosz Academy) under Prof. Jerzy F. Art and Prof. Werner Lubos. Working at the Puppet and Actor Theater "Pinocchio" in Łódź and coming into contact with the theater space and the puppet as a medium resulted in a change in the area of her creative explorations. The doll has become an elementary object of artistic expression, and today "Doll - Paper Sculpture" marks with its presence almost every manifestation of its creation.
