The only paper mill in Poland remaining in operation until today is located in Duszniki-Zdrój. It finds itself among the most beautiful and at the same time most mysterious monuments of technics in the world. Since 1968, the old mill is also a seat of the Museum of Papermaking, which is an institution proudly presenting industrial traditions of the region. It is also a place where you can experience an unforgettable adventure – here, everyone can make their own paper.
In 2011, the paper mill was awarded with the status of Monument of History. In this way, it was included among the most valuable objects for national culture. That happening opened the door to the attempts for the mill to be inscribed on the UNESCO list of world heritage.
