A map of Park at Weston Park

This map shows the park around the House and to its east at Weston Park as it appeared in circa 1840. The House then had its front door on the south front, with drives converging on this rather than on the loaction of the present front door of the east front. Above the House is Church Pool and the Walled Garden. To the right, east, of the House, is the U-plan stable block, with the Granary building above it. Pencil additions to the plan show projected additions to these structures. Temple Wood - Capability Brown's eastern pleasure ground - lies to the right hand side of the plan. Here can be seen the Temple of Diana, close to the numeral '19' and also the Pink Cottage near to '16'
