Peregrinaciones de una paria is the chronicle of a trip and an autobiographical text written by the precursor of feminism and labor movement Flora Tristán (1803-1844). The author of Peruvian and French descent, published her book in 1838 in Paris, originally in French. Some time later, the historian Jorge Basadre promoted the translation of this work into Spanish, a work carried out by the writer Emilia Romero in 1946. Before that, Tristán was read in French by Peruvian and foreign writers, being recovered, admired and criticized already during the 19th century.
