A Portrait of Two Girls in a Garden

The artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, specialised mainly in portraits. The painting shows two young ladies, probably from aristocratic families, with fashionable clothes and hairstyles. However, the viewer’s eye is particularly drawn to the highly realistic image of a dog, possibly one of the finest canine portraits in the National Museum in Wrocław.
