A postcard by Roshni Panda from Balasore, Odisha gives a call to pass the 180th Amendment Bill enabling 33% reservation for women in Parliament. The bill is currently pending for vote in Lok Sabha.

Many believe that 33% women in Indian parliament will be a big step in changing perceptions among public for women empowerment and will be a huge push towards giving them equality. The 108th Amendment Bill has been passed in Rajya Sabha but is yet to be put to vote in Lok Sabha. It’s time this is realized.
