According to credible media reports, the combined wealth of top 10 temples in India aggregate to over 20 billion dollars. In addition, these temples hold an estimated 4000 tonnes of gold with them. Add to that the assets of all other religions in India, and the cummulative wealth of religious establishments would be many more billions of dollars. 'Why can't this money be utilized for our nation's development?' Can this money be utilized to address India's development? A question worth pondering over.
