Private snapshots of the Nazi Party Rallies show not only garbage lying around and general disorder, but also how far away the individual spectator was usually kept from events. The poor view from the crowd was not comparable to the official photographers' privileged perspective. At the Nazi Party Rallies in Nuremberg (1933-1938), Party authorities were extremely careful to ensure that photographic news reporting also stayed in line with propaganda aims.
