A Romanesque artefact – a 12th cent. tympanum from Ołbin, originally in the portal of the old Church of the Virgin Mary and St Vincent. Both sides of the tympanum are decorated with the bas-relief scenes of the Deposition of Christ, of the soul of a repented villain received into Paradise, the Harrowing of Hell, while on the reverse – the Dormition of the Mother of God surrounded by the Apostles and Her Assumption to Heaven. This work of art, together with the entire church and monastic complex, were funded by Piotr Włostowic, a grandee of King Bolesław Krzywousty.
