Oval screen fan with metal monture supporting two layers of fabric in red silk taffeta with a low density moiré effect.

The front is printed with an unfinished country scene showing a couple dressed in the bucolic fashion of the 18th century. The man in hunting gear looks at the content of the basket on the woman's arm. She is dressed as a peasant with a bodice, skirt, pinafore and red cape, with her left arm resting on a walking stick. The scene is surrounded by a band of short red feathers and another of white marabou feathers hiding the monture.

The handle is gilt metal, wider and open on the join with the monture which it is attached to with two rivets with spherical heads. The rod is spindle-shaped, with a circular section that gradually flattens and whose lower tip ends in a pointed arc. Both faces are decorated with a winding branch finished with acanthus leaves.
