Acridoxena hewiana

Acridoxena hewiana is famous for its huge head and thorny breastplate. Although the size of this species is slightly inferior to that of other giant katydids, it has the largest head and the most developed mouthparts among the whoe family. It is very ferocious. If a person is bitten by it, he or she will bleed immediately.
